RCT Units for RTG (Technicalities)

Emirates Gas in its pursuit for continual system up gradation and ensuring highest standards of customer services decided to embark upon a path of innovation / proactive service by installing remote gauge systems on customer tanks. With this system, the Customer does not need to monitor product level his LPG tanks and has the freedom to leave their LPG/PROPANE inventory management entirely in the safe and reliable hands of EMGAS. EMGAS will monitor remotely the customer tank from EMGAS control room at Jebel Ali, plan timely deliveries and avoid product dry-out in customer’s tanks.

 

EMGAS currently provides two different types of RCT units:

  • Type 1 unit – Direct reading type without local display (does not requires any power supply & works on battery).

  • Type 2 unit – Indirect type with Remote display/modem at customer site. ( 230Volts power supply is required for the MODEM & DISPLAY unit in safe area within distance of 100meters radius, can be located in nearest Stores building or security office depending on the obstruction in the area)

EMGAS RESOURCES
 

  • EMGAS staff will review the type of gauge/ tank installation at customer site.

  • Will supply & install a suitable dial with transmitter on the customer tank like junior gauge, 4” dial or 8” dial size.

  • Supply & install remote display/modem at customer site in safe area using 230volts AC. This is an optional feature for which customer need to provide 230volts, 200mA power supply.

  • Install, Commission and maintain Commission the gauge.

 

CUSTOMER RESOURCES
 
  • Customer needs to provide a magnetic float gauge from Rochester or Squib Taylor on the LPG tank (Generally all LPG tanks have these gauges with different sizes).

  • A power supply of 230Volts AC will be required in a safe area within 100meters radius for remote display/ modem, may be in security room or store room or nearest control room.
